Lake Somerset Dawn

Met up with Ian, Allan, David and Glenn from AP this morning for a dawn shoot along the upper reaches of Somerset Dam.

We couldn’t have asked for much better really, fog, colour, still water, it was all happening.

What better way to commemorate our armed service personnel on ANZAC day than to enjoy the hard earned freedoms they helped protect.

A recent trip to Noosa National Park resulted in a few quite decent photographs, this is one of them. I’d been standing on the rocks looking for an interesting composition and spotted these overflows as the larger waves washed over the rock shelf.

Fingal Rocks

One of many shots of these rocks I took this morning. It was truly awe inspiring watching the waves rush into the gap and spray over the lower rocks on the left.
An experience no photograph can do complete justice to, but hopefully this goes some of the way.
