Description

Jade was the second model we shot yesterday at the Brisbane Strobist Meet. Luckily for all concerned, we’d kinda got into the flow by then. Jade was most accomodating regards to lying on the ground for us, as we wanted to make use of the lovely golden sunlight as a rim/hairlight.

Strobist Info:

Canon 430EX on 1/4th power, shoot through umbrella, 45 degrees camera left as main light. Vivitar 285HV on 1/16th power, 45 degrees camera right with a 1/8th CTO gel for soft fill. Both synced with eBay poverty wizards. Sun setting 180 degrees behind model, giving nice hair lighting. (info borrowed from James)
